Ad shows Rep. Walorski’s dismal record of voting 11 times to gut protections for Hoosiers with pre-existing conditions while giving Congress health care for life.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Mel Hall for Congress campaign began airing a new 30-second television ad today, titled “Gone Washington.” The ad highlights Rep. Walorski’s 11 votes to eliminate protections for people with pre-existing conditions.
“Hoosiers should never have to live in fear that they may lose their health care – especially if they or a loved one has a pre-existing condition,” said Hall. “One out of three Hoosiers has a pre-existing condition, but Rep. Walorski thinks we should let insurance companies deny them care. That’s not right. In Congress, I’ll fight tirelessly to protect health care for Hoosiers with pre-existing conditions.”
Rep. Walorski has consistently voted to eliminate protections for people with pre-existing conditions, all while voting to provide taxpayer-funded health care for life to Members of Congress. Rep. Walorski has gone Washington, and she continues to vote only in her own self-interest while leaving Hoosiers behind.
Mel Hall has a proven record of improving health care delivery. As a minister, Mel comforted and tended to the sick. As a business leader, Mel led Press Ganey, a northern Indiana company that gives patients a voice in their health care decisions and treatment.
