Fall listening tour to highlight hardworking Hoosiers across the 2nd District.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – In a video released today, 2nd District Congressional Candidate Mel Hall announced his fall Hardworking Hoosiers Tour. The tour will highlight the work of everyday Hoosiers in the 2nd District as well as Hall’s own background and commitment to getting Congress working for Hoosiers again.
“Washington is broken. And trust me, we don’t need more career politicians,” said Hall. “The best ideas to get Congress working again for Hoosiers will come from Hoosiers. That’s why I’m hitting the road on my Hardworking Hoosiers tour – to listen to you.”
Hall kicked off the Hardworking Hoosiers tour with the hardworking men and women of Sheet Metal Workers Local 20 in South Bend on Thursday, September 6th and with a health care town hall in South Bend on Sunday, September 9th. The tour will involve a series of roundtable discussions with industry leaders, factory tours and site visits, and rallies throughout all ten counties of the 2nd District.
Hall will continue the tour with the launch this week of his reform plan to Clean Up Congress. More information to come.
