Indianapolis, IN. — Hoosier Democrats rallied Saturday just blocks away from the Statehouse with the goal of riding the “blue wave” to victory in the 2018 midterms.
With November’s elections looming, incumbent U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly made a stop in Indy pushing the issues he feels are at the center of his race against Republican challenger Mike Braun.
“We’ll fight to make sure healthcare coverage stays in place every single day,” said Donnelly.
Those issues are also why Mell Hall made a few appearances at the convention.
The Democratic Party nominee for Indiana’s second congressional district faces a tough challenge against three term incumbent Jackie Walorski.
“The choice is between someone like myself who’s made a history and had a life of fixing problems and solving issues, week after week, month after month, making sure that things get done versus Jackie Walorski who’s not only been absent but has voted with her party 98 percent of the time and has not listened to her district,” said Hall.
